Abstract: Wrappers are a mechanism in denotational semantic that model class inheritance of object oriented programming. In this paper we try to give evidence that the unusual step of reintroducing a semantic mechanism into the language being described can be sensible. With wrappers now being explicit, a disciplined variant of multiple inheritance can be formulated as single inheritance and a better reusability of code is gained.
