| Abstract: | Representation can be critical in enabling agents to interact effectively. Alternative methods for representing and reasoning about the world can radically affect the ability of agents to reach cooperative solutions. Focal points are examined as a particularly compelling example of the importance of representation; we consider the algorithms that might be used by resource-constrained agents in discovering prominent solutions of their interaction . |
