| Abstract: | This presentation examines the roles of institutional and disciplinary repositories in supporting Open Access and enhancing the impact of scholarly communication. It highlights the development and structure of repositories like SciDok and PsyDok at the Saarland University and State Library (SULB). The session discusses the importance of political measures, content acquisition strategies, and technical standards such as DINI certification. Additionally, the interplay between institutional and disciplinary repositories is explored, emphasizing the benefits of metadata integration and collaborative approaches for improving document visibility and accessibility. |
