Abstract: The poor mechanical properties of diblock copolymers can be enhanced by blending with tapered multiblock copolymers. In article number 2000373, George Floudas, Holger Frey, and co-workers demonstrate enhanced elastic response and toughness introduced by the addition of a limited amount of a multiblock copolymer. These results may guide future industrial processes based on the synthesis of TPEs as blends of tapered diblock and multiblock copolymers with predictably mechanical properties.
