Abstract: | Aaron Albert Carr, also known under pen name A.A. Carr, is a Native American poet and novelist, screenplay writer, and documentary filmmaker of Navajo and Laguna Pueblo heritage. Born in 1963 in New Mexico, United States, he grew up on a reservation in Laguna before moving to Albuquerque, NM, where he attended Truman High School (Hobson 412). As a writer, his best-known work is the novel Eye Killers (1995), a literary text that belongs to the genre of vampire fiction. The novel was translated into French by Karin Bodson and published by Les Editions du Rocher under the title Le Tueur-d’ennemis in 1998.
