Sol-gel cerium-titanium oxide layer is used as a transparent counter-electrode in an all solid-state electrochromic window: GLASS/ITO/WO3/PEO-LiN(CF3SO2)2/CeO2-TiO2/ITO/GLASS. After an explanation of the processes involved in this device, we present its optical and electrical characteristics. The potentiostatic response shows that the limiting process is the diffusion mechanism in the CeO2-TiO2 oxide layer and allows the observation of a variation of the Li+ diffusion coefficient in this layer.
