Einsatzpotentiale von Enterprise-2.0-Anwendungen : Darstellung des State-of-the-Art auf Basis eines Literaturreviews

Abstract

Web-2.0-Anwendungen gewinnen sowohl im privaten Bereich als auch im Rahmen des unternehmerischen Einsatzes als sogenannte Enterprise-2.0-Anwendungen zunehmend an Bedeutung. Der Einsatz von Enterprise-2.0-Anwendungen bietet erhebliche Potentiale für eine effektive und effiziente Kommunikation, Koordination und Kooperation im Unternehmen. Der vorliegende Beitrag führt ein systematisches Review relevanter wissenschaftlicher Literatur zu den Einsatzpotentialen solcher Anwendungen durch. Er zielt darauf ab, bereits diskutierte Potentiale zu systematisieren, zusammenzufassen und zu dokumentieren. Darüber hinaus werden noch nicht erschlossene Einsatzpotentiale identifiziert und zukünftige Forschungsrichtungen für das Thema Enterprise 2.0 ausgelotet. Zur systematischen Darstellung der Untersuchungsergebnisse wird ein Bezugsrahmen eingeführt, der eine methodische und eine inhaltlich-funktionale Perspektive unterscheidet. Die Untersuchung zeigt, dass insbesondere Blogs und Wikis diskutiert werden. Andere Anwendungstypen wie Soziale Netzwerke, Social Tagging und auch Instant-Communication-Anwendungen finden bisher eine geringere Beachtung, obwohl sie weitere erhebliche Potentiale für eine effektive und effiziente Kommunikation, Koordination und Kooperation in vielen unterschiedlichen Unternehmensbereichen bieten können.

Web 2.0 applications gain more and more importance in private life as well as in business. Enterprise 2.0 applications provide a set of potentials for an effective and efficient communication, coordination and cooperation in business companies. The presented article conducts a systematic review of Enterprise 2.0 research concerning application potentials. It aims at systemizing, summarizing and documenting the potentials already discussed in literature. Furthermore unexplored application potentials are identified in order to elaborate future research directions for Enterprise 2.0. A reference framework is introduced in order to systemize the research process and the research results. The research shows that particularly blogs and wikis are strongly discussed in literature. Other application types like social networks, social tagging as well as instant communication are less considered even though they offer considerable potentials for an effective and efficient communication, coordination and cooperation in companies.
