Abstract: The fundamental question underlying this treatise remains: how can it be that our reality does not end in chaos in spite of the increasing multiplicity in the course of cosmic, biotic and cultural evolution, but that ordering structures and spaces are created in wich each element receives its place and carries out in a practical manner tasks on behalf of the whole? Unfortunately this simple question cannot be fully answered at one attempt. The more one devotes oneself to the problems discussed here, the more roads open up which may take us to "new country". In this text, the intention was to take account of new insights concerning the course of the process of emergence and the structure of the autopoietic processes. I am convinced that new questions will also arise in future, especially since the methods are becoming more refined and our knowledge base is constantly being extended.
