Abstract: | Wechselwirkungen an Hartgewebeoberflächen spielen eine wichtige Rolle in medizinisch-biologischen Zusammenhängen.
Interactions at hard tissue surfaces play an important role in bio-medical contexts. Despite their large importance, the processes on hard tissue surfaces are only poorly understood and described. To overcome the material challanges, synthetic HAP samples were fabricated that are then characterized by physical methods (XPS, XRD, REM, AFM, EBSD). With the aid of these samples, the pH dependent penetration depth of fluoride into HAP has been investigated. Furthermore, is was shown by AFM force spectroscopy that an increased fluoride concentration in HAP leads to a reduced adhesion force between bacteria and the HAP model samples. |
